Steal on a '05 Quad Cab - considering it....

First things first,,, get rid of that canopy. If it's brand new like he says,,, I could probably unload it for $500 (at least) on Criagslist... Then unload the 24 inch wheels/tires and tires for $2000 or so and pick up another set of OEM 22inch nightrunner wheels.

Put another $3000 into aesthetic mods (full JMB engine bay dress-up, grillecraft grille, 4/5 custom drop, tinted tails, painted mirrors/handles, headlights) and I've got a SICK black quad cab for less than $23K. Hmmmmmm.......

That would be a great buy. Make sure it has a clean title and no wrecks! You should get the VIN and send it to one of our dodge vendors to see what kind of warranty work that has been done.

I would be VERY curious to see what the truck would look like dropped a good 4/5 inches with the canopy on there...
I used to have a 5.9 Dakota R/T that had a canopy and it looked great, IMO...

I know! I don't like the cap or wheels either, no on an SRT. I would rather have the sunroof option! It seems to be a great deal but with 43K miles on it and on the other side of the country, I'm betting on getting on much closer with alot less miles!

Run a CarFax and check out the history...and see if there's sea-monkeys floating around inside the brake lights...could be recovered theft/salvage/"Katrina special"...
