i think the price on the lucerne is a bit high, the older park ave, and lesabre are worth less because they are no longer made.
remember i need to keep the price low, because the first day i own it, i take a drill to it, and drill 13 holes, as well as remove all the seats but one.

I'm not sure how many Park Ave's are out there with 20k miles on them anymore. Well... I take that back. There are a lot of old folks that only drive to the grocery store and church on Sunday.

the 2004 i drove had 48k on it. i try to get them over 100k because that is the cheapest you can get a car, when no warranty can be expected. last 3800v6 i had, did 225k before my mother borrowed it and crashed it. i used it for newspapers, the hardest test of any car. i was leaning that way for a while, but hoping to one up it. and i really want RWD, i will still test the 5series bmw before i buy.

Better get a older (E39) 5-series... the newer cars (E60) aren't worth a shit, IMO. I had over 160k miles on my E34 when I sold it 5 years ago, and the kid is still driving it.

i don't like the looks of the new ones, looking for a 2001-2003 530i stick to test drive, will probably get stuck in an auto for the test drive thou.

Good years... don't get into a '98 or '99 unless the block has been replaced. BMW experimented with a special alloy for their engine blocks during this time and didn't get it right. There was a recall and many of the blocks were replaced, but I think there are still some out there.
