Opinions about cars are widely varied...and you obviously would prefer to have a seven year old vehicle with no warranty, as opposed to a new vehicle with a 100,000 mile warranty...more power to you. (But dubious in terms of wisdom...) You are also comparing a sports car to a four door sedan daily driver...I doubt the tt would survive very long in our northern winters...
