Stock CTS V 11.9 Quarter

Opinions about cars are widely varied...and you obviously would prefer to have a seven year old vehicle with no warranty, as opposed to a new vehicle with a 100,000 mile warranty...more power to you. (But dubious in terms of wisdom...) You are also comparing a sports car to a four door sedan daily driver...I doubt the tt would survive very long in our northern winters...

The CTS V is called by Car and Driver "...the finest American vehicle ever made."

i prefer the F1 or the CCXR. :p i would never drop 1.7mil on a hopped up VW.
also car and driver has said many good things about JH.
you plan to drive this in the snow? isn't that what evo's are for? i have had only one sports car i drove in the snow, my $2000 300zx, lmao.
 
Yes, just put on Pirelli Sotto's for the winter.

It is a daily driver that off the showroom floor with an old fart driving will turn consistent high 11's...

Turns out that all the test vehicles that were used by the magazine review people were California emission control rated vehicles. We are now finding that the non-California cars turn 11.9's consistently with oem rubber. I am tempted to get some drag radials just to see the difference.

The 18 inch 10.5 inch wide Z06 wheels work perfectly...
 
There has been some talk about the CTS V Wagon becoming an all wheel drive vehicle...that would really be interesting...my wife is considering getting the Wagon...just came out, but I am pushing her towards the Tesla!

Scoob, you are wondering what the market is for this car and you are driving a 500HP pickup truck. Do you get the market for your truck? It's the exact same concept. Your truck is fast as hell and you can haul a load. The Caddy is fast as hell and you can haul 4 friends and do it in comfort. By the way, other than hauling a load of gravel and the like, the caddy does everything else better than your truck. He he. I want one in white with all the chrome blacked out and black wheels please.

yes, but the car looks like it was designed by someone who only had a ruler. the car doesn't have curves.

as for the original reason for the truck was two fold, bragging rights as worlds fastest, and an answer to ford. the market by what i read was people who had a viper allready and wanted a truck to tow it with, WALA quad cab says hi!
