Stock CTS V 11.9 Quarter

I've seen people on the CTS V forum pick up used ones in the low 50's...

That comes with the 100k warranty!

Hello Roy. I hope all is well.... I have a real good friend who is in the market for one of these bad boys and I know he has had a real difficult time locating any used ones. I was wondering what forums do you prefer or are a member of so that I can pass the info along. Thank you sir. ;)

I have found the following site to be helpful...nothing like VTCOA of course...but a good place to find info about the CTS V:

hey Roy long time no talk,

now i'm curious, you have talked up this caddy so much. Whats the weight on that bad boy? Hows driving it in the winter hehehe just giving you crap. But seriously how heavy is it just really curious since with your power putting you in the 11's. 4000 pds?? less/more?

4400 lbs...nothing like the truck but still heavy...this is a luxury car with a ride to die for...with a little kick.

I bought four more oem wheels and have Pirelli Sotto winter tires mounted on them. No problems last winter...but the clearance in the front is pretty low so in snow over 4 or 5 inches...she would become an asset to the City of Wadsworth in clearing the streets! I may invoice our city if I plow much this year.

Are you in school this semester? My two classes just started...love the short skirts.

Yep classes start next week, 4400 now that starts my mind a bit your about the weight of my charger mines about 4100 but rides like a dream, someday ill have mod money lolol, as to the clearance....see this is why you need to buy a cheapo neon for winter :p

i am trying to decide on a secons car (for fun) or should i just ditch my 300c and pick up one of these.

then i get what i need & want

room for 4 - yes
4 doors - yes
trunk space - yes
speed - yes
ability to smoke the tires - yes

only problem is I drive about 22-25k miles a year.

gas mileage cont be that bad, my 300 gets about 16mpg

Go to a Caddy Dealership and drive the CTS V...

Get in...buckle up...start the engine...press the suspension button once (you will see "competition mode" in the dash read-out...hold the traction control button down for five seconds...you will see the warning light come on in the dash...move the transmission selector to drive and then to the right...you will see "competion" in the readout.

Hold on...be very careful of full throttle starts...try stomping on it at 30 mph...

Bring it to a stop, turn the engine off, get out, change your shorts, get your check book out.

maybe i will test drive it.

wonder if its a little to much for daily driver material

I use mine as a daily driver. It is wonderful. I got the supercharger added boost package at Lingenfelter...moved it from 556 hp to 630 hp. Upped the boost from 9 lbs to 14 lbs. Still a great daily driver...
