stock internal engine part questions

I have a guy interested in my truck. He's also asking about specific internal engine stuff which I dont know. Here is his question:

"Can you tell me what went in the original engine. Rod, piston etc. Think they sleeve those too"

Can someone provide this info?

It's not exactly our engine but should be close. This info is on the 8.0.
(stating the obvious) Ours is the 8.3 and rated at 500 hp.

Dave I have been trying to figure out the question.

Is he asking what comes stock? Or what part blew in yours?

I think he's looking for what comes stock. Whether its manufacturer, specs, etc I dont know. He may be looking for what exactly composes the motor, sleeves or no sleeves. That seems to be whats preventing the original motor from being completely rebuilt. The damage to the sleeves seems to be preventing a possible rebuild. I think he would eventually like to put the original motor back in the truck if the sleeves can be fixed. From what I understand they can not but I havent really looked hard for an answer.

Pm FSTjack and ask him, I know he sleeved his engine with a bigger bore, so it should be possible

These engines use cast iron liners. I don't know why they couldn't be replaced. Hell, you can sleeve cast iron blocks, why not these?
