Having a stock RC '04 and i want to do some performance mods... What would you "specialists" recommend me , and in what order ?
Please keep in mind i'm in Belgium so have to order all parts in the US .
Also best that those are to be possible installed by ourselfs ( medium skilled mecanics ) as the SRT is not imported by Dodge and so no shops and/or dealers have any experience.

As far as i see i will need a new exhaust in the near future as the original is becoming "rusty" .

Also i need to keep the LPG installation on it so i can reduce a bit fuel costs by driving on LPG for the longer steady speeds at highways. (Otherwise i make our governement tooo rich with taxes on fuel ! while LPG is less than half price... )

So i like real complete "bolt on " kits included for example all bolts and gaskets as finding a minor part can be a lot of work and time in our litle (metric ) country...
( restoring my C3 from '70 learned me this... )

The car is used only on the street , almost as a daily driver , but i want to keep the Porsches beside me , at least up to a 100 mph.... :) :D

Many thanks for some advice !

The exhaust system of choice by most members is the Magnaflow. Gives the truck a real nice sound. Best bang for the buck on the intake side is a K&N style drop in filter in the stock air box.

For handling go with the Boomers (X-Metal) lowering kit. Looks great and you will love how the truck handles better. That way you can also dog the Porsches through the turns a little.

Enjoy.

Not sure about catalytic converters over there... :dontknow: but you could eliminate the rears, and put high flows in the front, or go catless mids in addition to the above exhaust ...since your there.
Headers....:dontknow: I love my Bellanger's.
However:
Nowhat has run "some air";) :burnout: through the stock exhaust manifold.

if i were to do it over again, first mod would have been rear end gear ratio change. (quicker and easier on your clutch!) i'm still savin' for that mod :( (4:56)

I agree when everyone says magnaflow. Since it's a RC I'd give Boomer at Xmetal a call and get one of his shifters. While you're talking to him order his lowering kit. That will get you started.

Would recommend the following "bolt ons" .....

K&N or S&B drop in Filter
X-Metal or B&B Mids w/HF Cats
Magnaflow catback
Stage 2 PCM flash
X-Metal Gen II shifter
X-Metal lowering kit

That should keep you hanging with most Porsches in the straights and curves ;)

That would be my suggestion too. Changing out your gears to 456 or 488 would help with performance but kill some of your gas milegage and its not a easy job to do yourself.

I would think that would be a smart start for someone wanting to have a fun daily driver and staying N/A! But I have to ask, why just 4.56 gears? The 06 is stock with 4.56s, if I am being told right, and I think it could definately use more...

Tom, Sancho has an 04 which came with 4.10 gears.....ie bog gears!!! Dodge switched to 4.56 in 05.

Barry............um....your girls are.....quite......pretty! I apologize for any rude comments by the animals we have on this site..........some have no sense when to keep their mouths shut when members show pics of their hot daughters on this site!:D

Purple shirt, jean skirt is the mama!!!!!................. oh mama!!!:D

Nice cars too.

You might want to look into Roe for their SuperCharger...It is supposedly super easy to bolt on and is a Twin Screw setup.

Ask Prof for more info on it, as he and a couple other guys have it.:)

So....uh....how old are these "Daughter" of yours? Just curious!:D I swear!:D:D
