Stock ride hight... Pics of bump stops.

Does anyone with a stock '04 or - '05 rc have a picture of the distance from the bottom of the bump stop to the lower controll arm?

yea if you lower your Ram you gott cut those front bump stops just go to autozone and get the energy ones for like 11 bucks

I never noticed that, I guess my springs are sagging because mine are a tad lower than that pic. This is just like a nascar set up, it must ride on the stops once it's up to speed...

Thanks for that pic too! I was doing an once over,looking under the truck and I saw that the stop was touching the lower a-arm. I guess it's normal though.

I found my oil lines are finaly leaking too...

no thats not normal and it causes your truck to bump steer makes it unsafe you need to cut them off and get the aftermarket bumpstops plus it will ride and handle way better ;)

its normal bo on the srt 10's most of them oem are that way

I need to cut the bump stops on a stock hight truck? I think not...

At least it seems I'm not the only one that didn't know it rode that close, but something just doesn't seem right. Maybe this is why there is so little body roll up front, it's slams down on the stop in a corner...

Mine has 700 some miles and it's that close.
