Stock wheels

So i've been thinking of putting some chromed stock style wheels on my rig...Would anyone in the tri-state area be intrested in buying my stock wheels? I'll even deliver All 4 are in perfect shape, no curb rash!!!


Also, is there anyone that can tell me where i can get a set of the stock style wheels in chrome? I've seen a few on e-bay and other "reproduction" wheels:dontknow:

Just didnt want the down time of sending out the stockers and waiting for them to return all nice and chromed...Wanted to swap on the new ones and sell the stockers, but i'll check Perma Star out and see, Thanks!

Some of the bigger tire & wheel shops will loan you a set if you go through them.Even if they are 20"s it would only be a few days if done locally.I would loan you mine if you were a little closer.

Don't get rid of your stock rims. They are forged and the aftermarket chrome ones are cast.

Don't get rid of your stock rims. They are forged and the aftermarket chrome ones are cast.

I don't believe the stockers are forged:dontknow: When I bought my truck the wheels where really damaged I work with metal everyday and they sure looked cast to me:dontknow:

The stock wheels are spun forged, made in Italy by Forgeline.

The cast replicas are very inferior to a stock wheel.

I would keep the stockers and put a good set of all season tires on them for the spring and fall season and have the chrome set for the summer. chrome rims are great but they corrode way to easy if not taken care of. especially with the amount of brake dust our truck's brakes produce.

I thought of that too, but realized my truck has never seen any other weather other than sunny days...heck, it's never even out at night, too many deer around my area and i just had my front windshield tinted!:rock:
So any body who wants my stockers after i get new ones can grab em real cheap ...PM me and i'll give ya a price
