He has no idea how he maligns people in his posts. Just not enough breadth to his life to understand that his litany of posts say much more about him than he will ever know or should ever reveal.
 
The concept of a stolen vehicle brings lots of questions to mind...do you really want it back? If if comes back will it be the same, will you have confidence in it? If it breaks at some point in the future will you be second guessing your decision to keep it?

If it was professionals, it is on its way out of the country already, or in pieces and probably posted here in the "Sell" section (just kidding...).

I don't think I would want mine back. So LoJack would not be my choice.

I do use a "No Start Card" from Sean Roe...even with a key, the engine cannot be started without a program card being inserted into the card reader. I doubt that anyone would spend the time to try to get it to run...they would probably just chop it up and market the parts. In my mind that is better than killing it by running it into the ground.

I do love my truck...but the idea of someone else driving it inappropriately would be too much to take...steal it....keep it.

My truck is highly modified and in the wrong hands possibly lethal...

Lots of thieves are young kids, even too young to have a drivers license...just joy riders...looking to impress their friends...like me at 14 and 15...

I wonder about my liability if I do not take steps to avoid its use by an inexperienced driver...in this day of getting sued for everything and anything...hmmmm.... note to self: Ask daughter to research my legal position...

There are some simple kill switch things you could do. A hidden toggle switch wired in series with the Red Start Button ,basically deactivating the button. Even swapping out some fuses with blown ones for the computer ,pulling the fuel pump relay at least when you know your going to be away from it for a long period of time. Crooks don't spend to much time troubleshooting. Sorry about your truck.

What was the plate number, in case anyone happens to spot it. :dontknow: Then it would be your choice, if you want the truck back... or just find the dude and molly-wop him. :eek:

I've often thought about the what if somebody stole my truck and caused personal and/or public carnage scenario.This would be a good topic to
discuss!

Truck like this was more then likely on order, if they want it they will get it short of locking it to bolts on the floor of the garage. That's how it works here on the border according to the local neighbor cop. He says the send them overseas in shipping containers, it its a CIvic or th like they just chop the heck out of the thing.

Also it takes about 12 seconds to grab with a picker and then load up. Nobody pays attention to the repo guys, real or fake.
 
its funny that most cars stolen now are automatics because younger people dont know how to drive a manual transmission.

I had a car stolen once and got it back. It had over 4,000 new miles on it and it smelled like a homeless dude lived in it for a month. I wish I never got it back.

Same guy stole my truck back in 96, smelly mofo and he drives a lot.
 
Well I was called by the investigator <~~~~ oxymoron mind you
it is 3 1/2 days later and he asks if I know what happen to my truck.
I said yes someone stole it and with the response time they gave on
this one the truck could have been driven slowly to California. He asked if I had talked to any of my neighbors and what had they seen. You got to be
kidding me. I have came to the conclusion if it doesn't fall out of the sky and
hit someone on the head my trucks gone.
