I will be getting an 09 chally in a few weeks and was planning on only taking out the truck every so often. How often do I need to take it out to avoid having any problems? I don't want to have to put it in dry storage or on jacks.

once every 2 weeks, start it, move it back and forth to get oiul on all the gears in trans and rear, and once a month or so go for a few mile drive. also, you need to change the oils every 2-3 months, because of condensation building up while it sits it will eat the engine from the inside out, so change the oil often even if there is no miles on it

Get a battery tender.

If you are going to keep it parked for long periods then you need to put it on jack stands to prevent flat spotting of the tires.
