strange feeling

just made a list of "to do" for the electric installation on my boat...Shipstechician
is gonna install it complete in december-januari.( We really go for this summer to come ! :captain: :captain: :captain: )

1) first strange feeling : after 14 years safe "building" at home , the open sea is coming....

2) most strange feeling : i just doubted if i had already to install the "life" battery... 12x 2V dry cells , together 24V 600 Ah... as we need this one for living aboard ... don't think the first coming years...now i'm 50 and the company Mastervolt gives 20 years garantie....

did me make confused... , ye, that battery can go in there right away....:rock:... strange feeling... garantie for life ? :dontknow:

be carefull that thing doesn't suck you in pieces ! remember 3 phase motors can rotate either way...

no, in fact dangerous areas are on maps to be avoided, less dangerous places are passed in group...ok , a sailboat doesn't give you the protection as on land by the remoteness but Europe is quite safe :rock: :rock:

big discussions are weapons on board.... those give a huge amount of paperwork in every country and a study for example in south of France revieled that most attacks were done in harbors , just were you must deliver your weapon in for the duration off the docking....Think/know most have a "secret" hidden on board...just to avoid all that paperwork ....

But ofcourse in the real pirates areas you are nothing against speedboats with machineguns... better sail around those , far enough deep sea :rock:
