I made up my mind, painting on stripes at the end of March!

I will probably wimp out and go with Silver, but, what "different" color would look good? I am going to go with the CE style stripes. I also am considering paint pin stripe outlining the stripes.

Some thoughts I have

Dark blood red
Dark grey
SOme shade of Orange
Something with pearl in it
White and Black (gloss or flat) are out, although flat black would be cool.

I know this is as bad as asking how many MPG you get as it has been beaten into the ground, but a new post may wake up a new idea :D

Here is the thread for the dimensions that are on the CE's. What about black with maybe a white or grey pinstripe to accent. Then powdercoat youw wheels black too.
 
I have been seriously thinking of stripes as well. Cant decide what color. I think silver or white would look good on red!
 
Another idea I like is black and white race flag checker, but that would cost quite a bit of money as I can not do that.
 
ASK WAZZZZZUP to photoshop you some on a picture so you could have an idea. i would but i suck at that stuff
 
curious, did you get those stripes from tint art signs? because I ordered some from that guy and the quality was piss poor and he dont want to stand behind them
 
pirateman, really? tint art signs are not good??...oh man i just ordered for windsheild decals and vinyl decals i hope they are good...
 
i own a boat dealership in augusta ga., we deal with vinyl lettering and decals all the time. Most of our vendors use 3m products. This vinyl had no paper covering over the decals so you could squeege the air buubles out without damaging the decals. Plus the vinyl was like stiff plastic not vinyl. I give up I quit after ordering 2 sets for 600.00

OR i wish i have found that post so i could have know better....:( well its because i already ordered 2 sets of "viper powered srt10" for rear side bed.. AND 1 set of "viper powered" just same one on hood for windshield decals the totals is $42 which is not bad...but i now feels like SUX! when i get it and i will see the points what you all are trying to tell me... :banghead: :bawling:
 
i just reading the whole thread that you show me the link, it was just shocking what that an asshole done to cardude and it just sux big times! i just emailed him because i was contact him with the ordered and i told him i want to cancelled the ordered :rock: im not buying anything from him after what he done to one of our family, cardude!
 
and even i jumped link to link, one from the link that you gave me and one from that an asshole's ebay and i notice complete SAME TRUCK!! and even i can see some of his computer skills to remove his stripes on tonneau and etc... and i even right click on his image.... :eek: it is not even ebay's image!!
 
i am pretty feel like i am slowly transform into ntw0rk because i start getting pissed after what that an asshole done to our family and i just have to post more than 1 about him! :mad:....:dontknow: :D :p

With regard to Cardude member, this jerk approaches me last year crying about "HIS" truck picture being used to sell decals. Comes to this website and is trying to SLAM my business! I spoke to my attorney and guess what, if him and his retarded buddies haven't realized it yet, ONCE an image file has been uploaded to the INTERNET, it is PUBLIC DOMAIN!!! Him and his butt buddies calling me an asshole saying my vinyl I use to make racing stripes and decals is junk material!! Well, I GOT A WAKE-UP CALL for them and ANY of you members on this forum. MY Supplier would beg to differ with that grossly slanderous LIE LIE LIE !!! I ONLY buy AVERY A6 to A9 Vinyl !!!! I spend 3 times more money on Avery Vinyl then ANY of my competitors using regular GMI, 3M, MacTac, FDC vinyls!! I BUY AVERY because it IS THE BEST. Don't take my word for it, ask ANY local sign shop or detail shop!! My business has grown leaps and bounds since the beginning and WHY? BECAUSE " I DO STAND BEHIND MY DECALS AND RACING STRIPES " If I was ripping people off since 2001 then I WOULDNT BE IN BUSINESS 6 DAMN YEARS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cardude, DRamSrt10, and 94rt10ohio members are simply a threesome of pricks with nothing better to do but to come to this forum and try and slander MY GOOD NAME!!! With regard to the 600 dollar order by pirateman in GA, I remember that order!! The back of the DAMN paper backing on the avery A9 vinyl HAS the damn avery emblem on it!!! I do NOT mask off those long stripes for one reason and one reason only, it is easier to apply them to the compound curves without the top mask tape layer, I told him to be careful, IF I can apply racing stripes with NO TOP tape layer and not scratch or trash them, then anybody can!!! With regard to the vinyl being stiff, NEWS-FLASH, IT"S FREAKN WINTER !!! Vinyl gets stiff in cold weather, EVERYBODY KNOWS, warm them up lay them out flat, THEN attempt application!!!

AGAIN, IF ANYBODY wishes to see PROOF of the actual Avery A6 to A9 Vinyl I use for decals and racing stripes, you simply email me at [email protected] ....
