Does anyone know if the STS system will work with Belenger long tubes and high flow cats? Looks like the intake pipe will only work with stock manifolds. Also can the water prduced by the cats hurt the turbo?

I would say no, since the only person that has a 'working' STS system is Marty with KRC performance and his engine is built...

It sounds like you are asking if it will fit as oppose to if it will work :D in that case I do not know.

I would just be really careful with the system as not too many people have had good luck with this system

Yeah, it seems like this system has had a bad track record. I guess time will tell with Marty's truck. It looks like an attractive system due to the fact you can stay with stock heads and cam and still make good power. Looks like easy install also.

Yes, it works just fine, until it goes BOOM!

Bill.

Thats it Stanker, your goin down.....

Headers are fine, but need to be y-piped back together into 1 3" inlet for the turbo. I run my turbos in 1000% humidity all the time, no issues.

Here's my twins on the Chally-Ho....

Sorry dude, forgot you sold them , but I still wouldnt sellem or sellem to anyone here;)

And yep, they work fine if you like a cummings dyno graph truck, :D and they will last after they blow up and then you forge the engine.

but bang for the buck? Roe or Paxton or a real turbo system , sorry man , there has just been too many of my friends loose a ton of money to STS

they work fine on some vehicles, jsut not our trucks..

So you will never ever see STS in or around my site or sig:p

You guys are making me cry....1000 rear wheel this month from the STS single turbo. 1300 on the twin....
I have more Paxton failures come through my shop than STS or Roe ever.
Paxton with it's supplied fueling is the king of POS.

that makes me laugh,,,,,there has been more blown viper motors with the sts than there is grains of salt in the ocean

Check out my sig and no paxton failure, and well thats with a 8pd pulley! And if I really wanted I could tune it up more, but then past this point Id need to put a better fuel set up, but 723 hp and 698 tq not to bad for a POS

Marty I want to make one thing VERY clear

I in no way am talking of your work, or you yourself, you evidently do very good work and are very helpful to all the guys on the forum , and I do appreciate what you do for these guys:congrats:

BUT, with that said, you would have to have been here in the beggining when STS came out, it was like a plague, engines popped like zits on a nerd:argh:

So you have to understand our feeling towards the STS, but now yes if you take and forge the engine they work ..well.

And understnd too, I am talking on OUR TRUCKS. not hemis, not chevrolets, fords, or hyundais:D

I mean in all honesty look at your own dyno, why on gods earth would you want a truck that peaked at 4500rpms, and then lost power, and not a little , but almost like you shut the engine off?:dontknow:

I would put your time and effort and skills into designing a honest to goodness turbo system , or at least change the name from STS to KRC
and jsut not tell anyone of the STS;)

Just look at the graph difference between mine and the STS:confused:

I jsut cant in good faith tell these guys that this would be a good thing to do:)
