no. but if you do the 6 speed swap and go with the 1 piece driveshaft you might need it. but not necessarily the one i have. I had a vibration for a while from 90-105 mph. people here said it was because the driveshaft was too long. one person told me to try and shim the rear and it worked. I have zero vibration now.
