First off, if you do a search for lug nuts within the forum you get results for nuts. Not what I'm looking for. lol.

Can anyone tell me socket size needed for the lug nuts since I want to use my torque wrench to get them back to specs after removing and cleaning the wheels. Damn brake dust sux.

Thanks.

Oh wait......I know this one. I think it's 7/8th but I'll have to go to the shop to verify. As far as brake dust. Do a search on brake pads. There are ceramic replacements that are much, MUCH cleaner. I'll be back in a minute to confirm the lugnut size. Yes! I was right it is 7/8th.:D I actually guessed 13/16th at first.

While we're asking stupid questions:

I have the Performance friction pads on the front and they rule.....

2 questions..... For when I get new pads...:

1) Part number for the fronts so I can write it in my book and.
2) Are the rears available for the '04 RC yet and (if so) whats that part number...?

Do you need the torque # ? or do you know?
Wazzsup,

Torque # would be great as I'm taking the wheels off today for a much needed cleaning. Thanks man.

Be careful...after the event's yesterday with the lugnut's on my passenger side rim..... unreal how friggin tight they were... this was the first time I tried to get the lugnut's off since I got the truck.

PB, heat, two big fellas on a 4way....notta...bitch is still on there, and now I have to drill out the stud:mad:

My neighbor (been with Dodge 16 years) has never seen a lugnut on there so tight.

It is 7/16ths, and 9/16ths stud. Use anti-seize on them upon re-installation of new lugs... and good luck.
