Ok, Its been almost a month since I installed JMB mid pipes on my REg Cab with the Mech Sims. No light until tonight. The truck has run fine with no problem, now on a short run around town, the check engine light came on. I assume it's the O2 sensors. I put the drivers side Mec h sim on the back O2 sensor and the passenger sim on the front O2 sensor. Could this be the problem? After I change it to the back O2 sensor, Will the light turn off on its own or do I have to get it reset?

Hahaha the SIMS have to be on both the BACK sensors... fix that... disconect the battery for 5 mins... reconnect it and you are all good cheif :)

Sounds like you found your problem.

My rear sensors would not plug into the front plugs.....but it sounds like you just used the sim in the front location instead of the rear......let us know how it turns out.

As for the unhooking the battery for 5 min, you can do that or take off the positive lead from the battery, and ground it to the negative terminal. This resets the computer instantly, at least in older 90's Dodge trucks.

Got under the truck tonight, ended up that the connector to the exhaust manifold on the passenger side was loose. The bolts that come with the kit are not the best, so I tightened them up, added some thread lock and hooked the battery back up, no light!! I'll drive the truck for a few minutes in the AM and let the computer catch up, but hopefully it will be OK.

I hope you still moved the spacers (sims) to the rear locations! You don't want to mess with the front O2 sensors, it will throw off your A/F.

Nope, I did not move the one sensor and sure enough the light came back on. I'll move it tonight.
