For those of you that have modified your stereo/speakers, what do you recommend to improve the over all sound quality of the sub? I want to keep the factory system but maybe change the amp or speaker.

I have read somewhere that stuffing the stock box with poly fill makes a difference. I didn't do it myself because my sub is sitting in my basement as part of my truck's diet. :D

i bought a better sub speaker and stuffed it with poly-fill....sounds much better.

Has anybody got ahold of that box that goes all the way across and holds two 10's? Ive seen it, maybe here or on another forum (cant remember) but Id like to hear more about. Might be a good mod for people who are into audio upgrades.

I had one made for my 2010, theres not enough air space for them to hit

Thats what I was thinking, just wanted to hear more about it. But isnt the air space also dependent on what kind of speaker used? Obviously a JL Competition isnt going to hit in a small box, but a less aggressive sub may be ok?
