ok got truck back from dealer about what i thought was a amp problem but turns out to be a sub woofer problem,,no warranty cause it looks like one of the wires from other owner got cut and they just spliced it together ,,,dealer respliced it got it working but said speaker is crap ,,,works now but you can tell speaker is blown and cause it was spliced no replacement on warranty

So someone tell me if this is just a 10 inch speaker ,,,i see there is 4 wires going in ,,anyone know how this hooks up inside ??do i have to get a speaker from dodge to get it to work

no any sub will work, just go online and search the amp and they'll give you a wire diagram. But you can use any sub that will fit and capable of 500watts or more. Even the scrubs at best buy can fix that for you if you need help there cheaper than anywhere else, but it is not complicated.

yep. 10 incher
the 4 wires hook up to a pair of terminals on the speaker.
if my checkin was correct if ya get one from Dodge its the cabinet & all.
some folks on here have said that only a factory sub will work. not sure though

i just pulled the speaker out ,,,i was just wondering if all subs are set up with the 4 wire hook up,,i also found out that when the old owner rehooked wires that the black wires are crossed ,,,going to sodier wires back right and see if that is the problem if not i will hit best buy up for a new one
