SUB WOOFER PROBLEM

JUST BOUGHT A 05 SC , I NOTICED MY SUB WASNT WORKING,I HAVE A 6 CD FACTORY IN DASH W/O NAVI,I WENT THROUGHT ALL THE RADIO SETTINGS ,THERE WAS NOTHING FOR THE SUB THERE,, AND THERE ARE NO EXTERNAL BUTTONS FOR IT EITHER. I TOOK THE SUB COMPLETELY APPART,ALL THE WIRES WERE CONNECTED,PUT A TEST LIGHT ON THE PLUG COMING UP OT OF THE RUG TO THE SUB AND IT HAD POWER,WENT TO THE PLUG GOING TO AMP UNDER CONSOLE THAT ALSO HAD POWER TO IT,WHAT COULD THIS BE PLEASE HELP,,,ALSO NOTICED RADIO WAS REPLACED IN 05 UNDER WARANTEE!!!

amp shit the bed hands down happens all the time, it reads that it has power but it dont, turns on it just pops.
where you from anyways and welcome to the rbc

I had both of my amps replaced last year under warranty, they would make a pop noise when I would turn on the radio:( Now they all work fine, esp since I replaced that shit infinity with a JL:rock:
 
i did the same thing after my 2nd one had no problems since i still have a backup one just incase but i have it for sale
 
lol

i wasnt sure if it was still covered,and sometimes id rather fix it myself, i dont trust the dealers,but in this case i have to bite the bullet
