Driving home last night in Mexico, I got the chance to run a WRX. He came up on me hard at about 50 MPH so I grabbed second and stood on it. It wasn't even close. I let up about half way through 3rd then noticed he was still on it. I waited a half second for him to catch up then pulled away again. We ended up next to each other at the next light and all I could think was, "Great, I'm about to get worked by an AWD ricer." Fortunately, he must have had enough because he eased through the intersection then took the next exit.
