Suncoast auto trans NO 2Nd Gear!

Can any one tell me if this is a mech problem or a hard part failure?
Just bought a 05 4500 miles and no 2nd gear.

Any help would be grateful.

What happened? Is it a Suncoast rebuild? Have you called them?

What's it doing? auto, manual....got to give a little to get a little...
