Should I pick? The full blown one or the other?

Also..do I need to buy there converter?

Planning any high hp mods like a Paxton? I went for the full blown one because I'm trying to only do something once for a change.

While you're changing I would deffinately do a new converter. That's one of the main weak links in the stock tranny.

you don't need a full blown tranny from them unless you are going over 700+ rwhp....

and the 'verter is only for running slicks.....ONLY.....

Thanks..you saved me 1200 bucks...

I can send you some Puerto Rican Coffee.....:)

My whole family on my mother side grows coffee. The brand used to be Yaucono. If you are really interested I can send you some ..

Thanks.....I am a coffee snob, wine snob, beer snob, turbo snob, bicycle snob.
Don't want to jack the thread....trannys are tricky business....mike should know he has abused his more than most.....I can hear some slop in the drive train when I put her in 1st....sounds like driveshaft not tranny in my ride.....rebuilt trannys shift pretty hard....till you drop the hammer.....then you don't notice it at all...:)

Walt

PS....GO Discovery team and kick some ass this month in the Tour.

Yes, get the coverter. How much did he quote you for the tranny?

I don't understand why everyone is trying to get you to buy the converter.....if you are not running slicks you want to keep the stock stall speed....no-one has had any issues that I am aware of with the stock converter.....:dontknow:

Why would you not want to beef up the converter if you are beefing up the tranny? At a fraction of the price too.

$1200 is $1200.....for street tires the stock stall is correct...and again never heard of any problems with the stock converter....:dontknow:

450 from Suncoast for my hemi converter. Don't know what the individual cost for srt-10 but it was thrown in on a package deal.

Well if you beef up the tranny, what is now your weak point?
