Well after beating a L and a GTO I figured a 'lil 'ol awd jeep should be much of a problem. I knew he was runing low 13's, so it would be a close race. Well the first race HE won his 13.0 to my 13.1. Second race he red lit, and then third race I went red. On the forth we left the line about equal and then he pulled on me hard to about 330' I power shifted my way back to this door but it just wasn't enough, he ran 13.008 to my quicker but losing 12.961... Both of us were bone stock down to the filter. That is one fast suv...

I don't know, he was running slicks and sounded like he had exaust. I think i saw him run 13.5 later on...

SRT-8s are no joke. Most surprising vehicle at the SRT Track Experience! Tough to beat it's launch.

Does your qc really weigh 4600?
Yes, give or take about 50-69 pounds.

I ran into this one guy and started talking about SRT vehicles. He said he was thinking of getting SRT Jeep. Defiently a bad ride. The guy tried telling me the jeep had the viper motor factory. It might have had one put in but I tried telling him it wasn't stock. It's amazing how people can be so wrong and you can't convince them otherwise. But that would be one fast jeep.

About 100 pounds more than before the install.

Just waiting on the Crank, Pistons and Rods to be balanced. Since it is a V10, the balancer needed another bolt (5 bolts) for the crank, so he had to order one. Something I didn't anticipate. I had two contacts in town that said they could do it. One backed out after thinking about the V10 for awhile. Another is an old man who has been doing this for some 35 years or so (WAG) and said no problem. He's my man!

In the mean time, I have completed all of my wiring, cleaning, dressing up the interior (gauges in panels) and am off in a few minutes to have my heads port matched and polished. The machine shop is tied up for a few weeks for porting. May wait until later to have the valve openings machined for true porting.

So I am in the waiting mode right now.

Told eddie102870 that he can come on over and do his cam while I am waiting. Then as you know, someone is coming down in two weeks for Cam/Heads/NOS/Gauges install.
