Currently I have a 06 SRT Charger and might sell it in the next while. I was wondering how much I would be looking at to get a Supercharged 05 RC. And where the performance would be compared to my car. I put 373 RWHP down last weekend. I really like these trucks and the 6 speed. What would one of these trucks do in the 1/4? I have never been in one so any imput would be appreciated.

Just read around you will find your answer. If you get a supercharged RC be ready tobuild the motor pay more for a truck with the motor already built. It would put down a lot mor RWHP than the car. The truck stock puts down quite a bit more than the car

There have been several for sale on here in the past few months.

With a supercharger the truck, with a good tune, will be around 650rwhp. Unless the engine has had the internals upgraded you will be having to do that in the future so try to find one where that has already been done.

If will be a good bit faster than your current ride in the 1/4. Biggest difference will be how hard it pulls in lower gears on the street... much more fun to drive.

Stock vs stock, they run about the same 1/4 mile times. However, the truck is 100 times funner to drive! It is more of a muslecar feel. I guess the manual trans and 505 cubes doesn't dissapoint!!!!!!

You dont need a supercharger to be faster than your charger. This truck is gonna feel faster and stronger stock. If i were you, i would try and find an SRT-10 Ram as close to stock as you can get. Then if you want to upgrade it later you can.

I don't know of any trucks for sale with a blower already on it, but if you can find one... grab it. Just be ready to build the motor soon;)

I bought my 04 RC with the SC and everything, forged the bottom end, and she's good to go:burnout: Save ya a bunch of money.

I traded an 06 SRT8 charger for the truck....regardless of what some say stock for stock they are even in the qtr with the driver's determining the winner. The Charger has a higher top speed of ~170 vs the truck's ~150. The truck is much harder to launch and unless you are good with a stick you will not see the potential times.

The truck will also cost you 50%+ more for similiar mods.

I'm not worried about whether I can handle it. I just want to get a feel of how it sizes up against what I have now. My friend has a 03 Cobra with 640 RWHP and I drive it all the time. I just want something a little more fun to drive like his cobra and thought one of these would do the trick without going to a Viper.

To much money right now.

I loved driving the Charger when I had it...still like to own one....truck is fun to drive but much "cruder" for lack of a better word. I have driven a truck since 1975 so I just like trucks...it is hard riding, eats tires and sucks gas........but just something about owning a cinder block that can give a corvette owner the fits...;)

Have you driven an SRT10?..

No I haven't, Im in Eastern Canada and I have only seen one. I think I have a good idea of what they are like but its a big decision. My car only has 22,000 miles on it and I can get over 23 mpg with it.

Better drive one first......some people are dissapointed when they first drive a 10....it is different and sometimes requires "acquiring a taste for"...;)
