I'll keep it simple. I've got it advertised in Autotrader since the ad is cheap and runs literally forever. Asking price is $45,000 and is rather negotiable.
I paid $40,000 for the truck originally (6400 miles on odometer...it now has just under 8000). When the motor blew I paid $7,000 for another motor and $9600 for the Paxton re-install (including the upgraded internals). Add on the other goodies and I've spent a total of $60,350. Heres a breakdown of what you would pay if you had the same mods done to your truck:
New/used SRT Ram reg cab - $30000
DC Performance blower inlet system/flash/pcm - $2250
Fidanza flywheel and ATC clutch assembly - $1500
Paxton supercharger install and tune - $9000
Aarow racing custom Diamond pistons inc install - $4600
- pistons were $1650 or so, install was expensive part
Have all receipts from work done by Woodhouse regarding re-install of Paxton and upgraded internals/upgraded clutch, flywheel, etc. Dyno sheets also available. On the Mustang dyno it produced 535rwhp/543rwtq (about 675/675 at crank). For comparison the power to weight ratio of this truck is identical to that of my '01 GTS with some simple bolt on mods from the same dyno.
So by the time you add the mods I've listed plus a fair price of $30K for a truck your looking at spending about $47,350. I'm awaiting the SRT a/f gauge as well as Raptor shift line and 3 gauge pillar which is also included.
Again, I'm not in a rush to sell it and will enjoy it (race it, etc) but figure maybe the right person is out there that wants one already modded so at least they'll see the Autorader ad and this forum. The original blown motor is included in the price. The "new" motor and upgraded flywheel/clutch have about 1500 miles on them (1300 or so are highway miles to denver and back).
