Paxton vs Roe vs JMB. For financial purposes, I'd like to leave my internals stock. I've been told to stay away from Roe's because its to aggressive for stock motors?? I feel like everyone keeps saying that the Paxton is pretty safe. So whats the deal with the JMB F1? What kind of life expectancy should I have on my motor by supercharging it? I have 24k on it now. Any help would be great!!!

i just think 600-700 hp is alote to ask of these motors stock. i think it is all a matter of time before they will blow. but then again i had a bad experience. as far as who is to me a safer form of supercharging all i can say is the roe kit is supposed to have really even distribution of air flow from there intake design. i think there are alote of people with stock internals that have a paxton and some with the roe. im not to sure how many stock internal jmb setups there are out there im sure justin will chim in at some point. i think the jmb kit can out perform the rest hp wise tho

I'd contact JMB, one of the vendors on here! Think he has a few sc builds under his belt:rock:

Talk with Justin @ JMB about your questions, you will get the proper answers from him. The way I see it all you have to do is have the proper pulley combo to regulate the boost levels and it will be fine.

What ever you decide, get it tuned by a professional with Viper motor experience. 62k (installed at 31k) on my Roe QC.

Are u running stock internals with that? How much boost?

Stock internals, 5lbs just had Sean @ Roe dyno retune it. 548 hp,550tq. Any higher boost with the Roe I would suggest forged internals.

Well if I should only put in 5 lbs of boost, I think theres cheaper ways to get 550HP. I guess this cat might be staying NA for a while!

I hit 590hp with my ROE when a piston came apart on the dyno, so more than 550 is possible but with consequences. I think there have been some other successfully do it though.

I run the Roe and dynoed at 580 rwhp. Stock I was at 390 so the supercharger added quite a bit. Have run it for 15K but it has always run on a safe tune and has run rich. The truck never gets abused - in fact the hardest the truck has been run is during the dyno runs.
