:dontknow:  Im trying to figure out which charger to put on my 04 RC. Ill have headers , mids, and catback shortly. I want some input from others. What systems are you guys using? what mods w/ stock engine? What track times? I was thinkin bout doin jmb justins No2 setup but I wanna see what the SCs are throwin out first. Ill also have the stage 3 traction kit and a set of DR's. Thanks guys

the way......... :burnout:

I have the ROE, and I love it. Others have the Paxton and love it. A vendor here has managed to tune the STS turbos and make it a viable option. Justins NO2 is great power for the money. It is the cheapest hp you can add after gutting your cats.

The only bad part about nitrous, it is not legal on the street. You are limited to track use only. The other power adders are able to be enjoyed day to day.

There is a user here that had a ROE, and he changed to a Paxton. He made a really good post about his experience with both systems. I will look to see if I can find the link.

For me though, I am staying with my ROE. I truly believe that torque is the answer for our heavy trucks. And the ROE delivers torque very early in the power band. And with the use of the SCT tuner, install time will be a snap.

So you think the No2 is the way to go?

Matter of opinion....nothing wrong with the bottle but not for me...which SC?....lots of threads about that....I was like you at one time...decided the Roe was for me...but that may not be the way for you...research!...

The top mount Roe sure looks good and much easier to install than a Paxton
(and less expensive) If I ever sell enough T shirts thats the way I'm going.

personal preference........ the two SC's are good, but the nitrous is cheaper & easier to install than both of them -- especially on a stock engine...... with my sct tuning done by my friend marty @ krc performance--- that's a plus in my book.......

what kind of times are you guys pullin outta the roe with your hand full of mods? Who near florida tunes a VEC3?

Roe will give you tire roasting torque
Paxton will pull like a freight train in 3rd and 4th
NOS is cheap, but only there when you "on" the bottle

I am not a nos fan b/c i want it all the time.

A strong built motor and No2 would be the way i would go if had a chance at a do-over. The Roe was fun and the sound was rediculous.. :D

For what those cost you can get a strong bottom end in a motor and then add on the Nos for some real tire roasting action through all gears.. :) :)

Oh and this street legal thing?? The Roe is intended for "off-road use only" i see and hear Nos all the time.

I have the QC, and mine was low on power before I started. But with the SC I ran 13.0 in the 1/4.

A word of caution. Not all engines were created equal. Some are strong, and some are suspect. Put ANY type of power adder on a suspect engine, and you will be friends with some of the engine builders. My engine was anemic from the start. I added the SC, and I am now getting a new bottom end.

I wont disagree the NOS is very effective, but your not going to get a built bottom end and pistons for less than $5k.
I like the ROE for viper engines, sean just works on a=making them very compatable

Think customer service. ROE has proven customer service, even when there was a major failure involved. JMB has proven customer service as well. Paxton has been less helpful for some of our users.

Hmm, your Roe/Meth/VecIII is going to cost 7,300 (i have a bill to prove it :) ) without install.. and i'm sure the Paxton is around the same price. So for about that you can get a decent build, no 1000 HP bottom end motor although..

 Roe and JMB have shown great customer support, ROE even carries warranties to the next person if you sell them their product!!

Very true. But a police officer is not going to write a ticket for the SC. Go ahead and try him with a hooked up bottle.

I have nothing against NO2. I am adding it to my truck. So I will be in the fold in the next few weeks. But for my day to day running, it will be all ROE on a built bottom end with a worked over top end.
