Supertank status..DC and EED

I guess I should tell you now that my RC ran a 10.8 at 130mph last night..It was about 60 degrees, and track prep was awesome. I launched at 4000rpm, and got a 1.90 RT.
After the run, we opened the hood and found that the motor had actually twisted itself into the shape of a swan from the torque, like some bizare SRT origami. Unfortunately I didnt get it on tape because I was in my driveway, pretending to drive, and the guy running the camcorder got bored and wandered off..But I SWEAR it was a 10.8..lol

motor hits DC next week.....then install and tune....the heads took longer than expected.....

Actually the color of the pistons say that the A/F was spot on.....the motor suffered metal fatigue....no signs of detonation....The tune and the c-16 (117 octane) was very safe....the problem as stated many times is that the top of the stock pistons are paper thin....just too much pressure....

I saw the pistons weeks ago when they came out of the motor. And they just gave up. Tune was very safe. Cyl preesure was just too high for cast pistons to live forever.
Mike you got your money's worth.
