Whew.....getting there...

The truck and motor are at DC performance...the motor is now 8.4L (512) with all the goodies including a few that have never been done before....shhhh.....on the engine dyno there was a 12% increase in power over stock...but the motor was built to be strong not more powerful...I hope to be the 1st 1000rwhp vehicle on stock manifolds....:D

Unitrax measured the truck and is in process of seeing what they can do for us as far as driveshafts....a single piece Aluminum is now a possibility...anyone ever try picking up the stock 2 piece....holy crap....custom loop also coming...

Jmb Justin shipped 4 QA1s that get mounted....

At the track via laptop I will be able to select a shot for each gear....starting with 100 in 1st, 175 in second, 225 in 3rd and will make changes from there...the laptop will also allow me to pull timing so no need for a nitrous tune..

The tricky part now is in DC's hands....with the new transmission characteristics, a new motor and a potential 400 shot....they have to get all the shift points etc worked out....

BTW told the owner of Unitrax what we are paying for Stinker's group buy on the new R.E and he couldn't believe it....

One question Mike.

Now that you are going all out so to speak, why stick with the stock exhaust manifolds? :dontknow:

Hmmm, are we possessed? All you really needed was Splitfire spark plugs. Look at you now. :D

Real simple...I asked Dan and he said why would you want headers...?.....

1) I will be 700+ rwhp off the bottle....plenty for street tires
2) on the track I can run a 400 shot = alot of hp and trq...

so.....why....?

Where you been....when do we get a track day....:D ....spent my cage $$$ on pistons....:D .....

Is traction on the street even going to be a remote possibility?:dontknow: :D :burnout:

Sounds Awesome Mike! I'm anxious to hear how it runs! Hopefully we'll get to see it too!!

MayBe now you'll finally get kicked out at the track:dontknow: :D :D :D :D :D :D

stock manifolds are going to cork up a lot of your power. they cork up 40 or 50 hp on a stock motor. so Imagine what they are corking up on your motor.

just a thought. They aren't flowing any better than with your old motor. You can inject 400 hp worth of NOS in the motor, but if the engine isn't flowing then you might melt the heads and pistons.

Man.....

1) I am not a stock motor
2) If I need more power I will up the shot.....for FREE
3) I currently make more power than I can use on the street
4) headers are for girls
5) headers have been proven to cause testicular tumors
6) your mama

I'm just saying, you might wanna be careful since the stock manifolds may not flow that much air, and if they dont flow it then it's going to go somewhere. NOS makes engines really really hot. I'd be worried about flow, and leaks. My turbo header ripped itself in half because it wasn't flowing enough.
