It's been discussed on here multiple times, the Viper engine really is just not the best Mopar engine to use for a swap or custom build. Likely better off getting a 6.1 or 6.4 crate engine. They don't have quite the "wow" factor as the Viper engine, but this one for a swap isn't that user friendly. There's a lot more parts and support for the Hemi engines than the Gen III Viper engine, and even less for the ones in the trucks.

I disagree. Swapping any engine in the Mopar family requires stupid effort. Going from a 4.7 to a 5.7 Hemi requires just as much work as swapping in the V10. Dodge simply does not make the computer portion of the swap easily doable. I called an off road shop recently and discussed swapping a Hemi of any displacement into a Wrangler. They flat out told me no. They will however swap an LS engine of my choosing into one because it is so much cheaper and easier.
