Synthetic fluids

Has any one used the " Royal Purple" line of oils for tranny,differential etc? Has any one noticed any performance increase or benefits? :dontknow: :dontknow:

I use it at work and found it extremely better than other products I've used in air compressors (250hp) and gear boxes. Haven't tried it in my truck yet.

I used it on my lightning just the motor oil and i did felt some performance.

what are you currently running?

redline, amsoil, and royal purple are all a lil better than the generic synthetics (mobil 1, castrol etc).

my old dakota r/t picked up 2mpg going from normal 10w30 synthetic blend mobil1 to amsoil 10w30

Having just done the differential, I really wouldn't expect you to be able to feel a difference, and I doubt you'd even be able to measure one. However, when done in conjunction with their other products, I've seen dyno testing on a few different programs where it showed a few extra ponies. No different than doing a few small engine mods that individually don't count for much, but they all add up. Component longevity is also relative for each application, but the higher the quality of fluids you run, the longer it oughta last.

Their standards and testing are quite elaborate, and they have a closely guarded patented process that is used in the production of their lubricants. The synthetic base in particular is tested in several ways for each incoming batch.

This stuff's definitely going into my new engine, trans, and new diff once the engine break-in period is done.
