T-stat

What exactly does the T-stat do? Would it help me (05 RC with a CAI, catless mids and magnaflow catback...no tune yet)? How hard to install?:dontknow:

Make the motor run cooler, no real gain till you do a flash with it...

When I bought my stage 2 Flash with the aggresive Timing Dan said also get the T stat it will help to reduce knock because of the lower combustion temperatures.

I like that my truck runs between 165 and 180. Thats a whole lot cooler. It could just be in my mind, but now I feel like I dont get that heat soak HP loss I use to get. AC even runs better/cooler now. When I park in my garage, the garage does not heat up like an oven anymore. Win, win win............oh yeah, dont forget to get the flash too......more power= more smiles!!

Yep like the others said my motor also runs cooler which is always good here in the desert, and now thats its summer i have found that my AC seems to work better all in all a good cheap mod thats pretty easy to install.
