T56 Leak

My T56 has a small leak at the very rear. All the bolts are tight, it doesn't leave a stain, it's just always "weeping." My driveway is at an angle and I park it ass end up to minimze this. I'm running Pennzoil Synchromesh. Anybody else have this going on?

'04's had some probs with tail shaft seal leakage.

something bout the seal. or they don'y have the little vibration damper like the '05s & '06s.

or a combo of both

bolts to the very end of the tail shaft

I deffinately don't have that. It's clearly not leaking at the rear seal either, it's a little more towards the front. I guess it's a gasket.

They don't have gaskets, just sealant. If its one of the splits that is leaking then it requires disassembling the transmission.

It is. Guess, I will be keeping an eye on the fluid level.

I didn't it would help but, I parked it as I always do, cleaned it with break cleaner, put a bead of silicone over the seams of the trans. at the rear, let it dry and put another bead of silicone. It has been over 700 miles and it is still "dry."
