Ok, we all love our trucks, right?

Well, I am most probably going to be working in New Hampshire for about 30 days. That is a 1400 mile trip, one-way. Highway miles being easier on the vehicle (Generally) than city miles, the question is:

Should I take the truck and enjoy it, and say to heck with the extra 3000 miles? (I have the option of renting a car when I get there and parking the truck too)

Should I leave it here, where I don't have a garage to keep it in? There will be nobody at my house to watch it either!

Leave the truck...fly up, rent a Mustang 500...destroy the tires and come home to your truck none the worse for wear...

Would, that I could! I will be required to rent a mid-sized car or smaller. Anything Sporty, or SUV, and it will be out of my own pocket. They won't even reimburse the difference!

I do believe that says it all right there. No way would I leave it outside and unprotected.

Ok, but someone on the board has been kind enough to offer protection for the truck, if I decide to fly up.

:dontknow::dontknow:

Hey between Silverback and I, we drove 5000 miles to a GTG, a one day event, in our trucks. For me its was worth every mile per gallon.

Geez, it took me a while to make a decide. Well I said take it with you and enjoy with it while you can!

from what iv`e heard...the roads up there SUCK BIG TIME!so,it will be beat to death while driving it,it will be outside(unless ya rent a covered place)it will have fl tags on it which means the people (there are always asses out there) and police mans will probably f with it and you,and finally, the gas prices are so STUPID that the money (and lets face it,mileage on your ride) you would save on flying there and renting a shit box economizer for commutes would probably be considerable.you could always rent a nice dodge pickup while there i`m sure.:dontknow:

You never know what tomorrow is going to bring. Do what makes you happy.
I'm happy when i drive my truck.

......and if you need a garage, you can bring it over here (I can take you back to the airport). :dontknow: You don't even need to leave the keys, if ya don't want to. She can just sleep in the garage. :)

Jake's offer sounds like a damn fine one to me, Scoot.....

Good morning everyone....

I would take it. I didn't buy my truck to sit in the garage and look pretty. Unless you leased it or plan on selling it in the near future, who cares about the mileage.

I wouldnt take it, New Hampshire has alot of crappy / sandy roads.

Let me know when you go Ill meet up with you im in Assachusetts.

Hampton beach can be pretty fun, its no Myrtle Beach though.
