So it was an F15. I knew I had seen something about an Isreali pilot losing a wing.

So it was an F15. I knew I had seen something about an Isreali pilot losing a wing.

Really any plane with a lifting type/ body fuselage and enough power could do it, it is just a knife edge maneuver where the wings provide almost no lift, just the fusalage.
