As some of you know, I am putting my truck back together however I was not the one to take it apart. I installed the intake manifold and injectors and noticed that someone had spliced a wire into one of the #3 fuel injector wires. It was cut from where ever it went and haven't found the other end.

Any ideas why someone would tap into the injector wire so I have an idea where to look? Would it be going to a guage? Providing a signal for something?

More than likely, they were using injector pulse for the Nitrous kit that he had on there, or he may have also had a meth kit. Some of the meth kits use injector signal.

No meth kit on there from before. What does the injector pulse have to do with the nitrous? Maybe tied in to the window switch?

I guess I should just cap it off? Or save it for my Snow meth kit I will be installing?

I bet it had some kind of engine management system like a VEC or AEM and the injector wire was reference. Usuallyt Meth and Nitrous use the TPS sensor and set a voltage to trigger the solenoids.:dontknow:

I removed the split second box and the dual paxton fuel pumps from it during the down time. I am switching it to a SCT with the dual pumps in the tank. Would a VEC or AEM have worked with the split second system?

Hey venomcooch. :D Roe's meth kit uses an injector signal for reference and i believe it's an option on the Snow meth kit. Not 100% sure on the snow kit, I'm using boost pressure on mine.

You are correct, my snow kit also is hooked up using boost and rpm signals on my old truck.
