Tapping noise under valve cover??

I have a 2004 SRT-10 with 9500 miles. Yesterday I heard a new tapping noise that gets faster with rpm's. Opened the hood and it seems to be coming from under the drivers side valve cover..

What's up with that? DO the valves need adjusting?

Is the oil level ok???? 15-50 will quite things down .... I would still take a look ..

I just changed the oil and put in a quart of Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer

I get back soon with the news....it's definitely a lifter sound that comes and goes
