TB Cleaning???

I know there was a big Thread on how people had been Cleaning there Throttle Body, Not that small little spacer in the front but the long Narrow Item that runs all the way to the rear of the engine. Mine has this Weird Red Substance that is kind of like bird poo on it. I cant seem to get it off and i dont want to scratch anything.

Ive kept my engine compartment as clean as i could for this long, Now ive kind of hit a dead end with this.

Does anybody have the link to that Thread were this was discussed???
