TB shaft bearings??

Can we get new bearings/bushings for the TB shaft when installing in an aftermarket TB instead of using the old ones??:dontknow: Thanks.

Normally the bushings / bearings are in the aftermarket TB installed. (New)
You just switch the shaft.

Nope, I just got an amazing deal on a brand new/uninstalled ROE TB and they give you the tools needed to remove and reinstall them but I would rather use new ones if possible...

They are available thru special bearing stores, at least in europe.
I have bought some for my own throttle body design.
They cost about 2,00$ each.

No freakin way the dealer will sell them. It's like trying to get ball joints and having to buy a entire A-arm assembly.

No reason to change bearings. Use ones outta old TB with tools provided. They will work fine.

If not mistaken they are 19mm diameter by 5 mm thick for a 10mm shaft

And they must be the sealed units

U can get them from Mcmastercarr for 8-10$

We get ours local an run me about $10 each

I have a few as we normally order a couple hundres at

A time but now that the viper guys have found our tb we may have to double

That , we blasted thru quit a few actually wiped us out in the last couple weeks

But if ya need I'm sure I can roun up a couple

I am big into the RC helicopters. I use some pretty high end bearing on these machines. Some of these machines can be in the $3K range and very high performance.

Have a look at either of these places. They have just about any quality or type bearing you may be looking for.

bearing number 6800 double sealed, there like $7.93 each, i get mine from a local guy we support, since he sends us a good bit of biz I think we pay about 9.79 each from him
