Tell me about the Desert Eagle...

   Thats a good one but i still prefer a Shotty for the house! I'll actually be looking for a shotgun soon....still up in the air on what to get...It has to be a short one with a handle, i really want more of a tactical shotgun.....
I've been thinkin' real hard about one of these. Mossberg 930 SPX. Semi auto. I already have a mossberg 500 pump shotgun and wanted to go auto tactical. 8 shot.

i shot one 10+ years ago and it had problems which i hear they have fixed, every time i pulled the trigger it would eject the clip. i would do a freedom arms 454 casull if u want real power and a quality gun.

I agree. My father bought the 454 over the Desert Eagle because of reliability. If an Alaskan Brown Bear charges you, you'll probably only get 1 shot so it had better count. :secruity:

The I believe the casull uses the same grain bullet they use in Elephant guns and is the nastiest revolver I have ever seen - it looks like the gun the Joker used a couple Batman's ago.:viking:

Found it

Mesa Tactical, a Costa Mesa, Ca, manufacturer of AR style stock and pistol grip mounting adapters, and Picatinny rails, for Remington, Mossberg, and Winchester tactical shotguns, is introducing an innovative professional grade of all-metal shotgun shell holders with storage capacity for either four, six, or eight 12 gauge shells.

Designed specifically for use with Mesa Tactical’s exclusive single-point mounting system, these new on-the-gun shell holders attach directly to the company’s AR stock adapters rather than the shotgun receiver. Machined from 6061-T6 hard anodized aircraft aluminum, they also incorporate an entirely new internal elastomer shell retention system that eliminates the need for the flexible plastic shell retainers used on conventional shell holders.

desert eagle is only good for show. After 50-100rnds(if you keep the gun that long) the slide starts to work lose. Just physics, and no mod's I have seen will get it from doin so. My brother didnt listen, now he has a900 wall piece, and shoots/and carries a 40 now:elefant: :itsme: Plus the 50 cal is child play if you think your man enough shoot one of these.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAx0EWhWcEg

Thats awsome. What is it?
I'm not sure which weapon it is but here's where I got the pic from. I think it's a company called Mesa Tactical. They sell tactical accessories for shotguns.

I've seen two different types. A top folding stock and a side folding one. Both pretty nice.

You guys are raining on my parade :(
Sorry man, you asked the question. DE is just not a practical home defense weapon. If it's not your primary gun and just want one for the heck of it, go for it. But if you only have one gun then you need to start with something else.

Sorry bro but the DE only looks cool......take it from those who know! it's not practical for anything besides looking cool....crap it aint even fun to fire! But like i said earlier, if you want a huge pistol to just show off to friends and play a prank on them, let the shoot it without them suspecting the recoil and possible smacking them in the face and dropping it or having the slide cut their hand look else were:p

Lol, I have a 22, 410, and my trusty AR-15, just really want a DE, even if I only shoot it once, I'll get me a Springfield XD(m) (.45) for the rest :D
