Terrell Owens tries to kill himself?

yeah id want to committ suicide if i was making that kind of jack too.
 
I saw that today also. I think TO has some serious mental issues with always needing to be in the spot light. His behavior while he played for the Eagles, his arrival at Dallas and since he can't play due to a broken hand, he needs the attention some other way.

Plus trying to do it with "pain pills" just shows how dumb (and not serious) he is. Chances are you get rescued by some one. My guess is they were narcotics that also contained acetaminophen (tylenol) as most pain products do. What most people don't realize is if you don't succeed in killing yourself, you may have killed your liver due to high doses of the acetaminophen and you then get to die a long painful death due to liver failure. I have seen one too many teen girls do this in attempt for attention and then they suffer for years on the organ waiting list. Once the high doses of acetaminophen are in the body, it is almost impossible to reverse the liver toxicity that is coming..

This is BULLSHIT! He had 40 percocet 5mg tabs.....for 9 DAYS!!!! they are spinning this like he just got the script. 1 pill every 6-8 hrs x 9 days=36 pills.........he had 5 left. Im not sayin he wasnt tryin to cop a buzz or somethin but Im sure he was jacked when they asked him if he wanted to hurt himself......and anwsered yes. just my take on it but i think its the media spinning this.....anyways a big guy like that could take quite a few of those and not be in ANY danger of OD'ing....that is a mild pain killer.....Now if it was Oxycontin or something....MAYBE...

I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than a media spin. Of course they're having press conferences here like crazy but nobody knows a thing.

I've been on percocet for over a year now and I can take 4 without a problem. I'm not saying I do, just that I can. I'm 5'8 and 155. Surely he can handle that amount. He may just be having an adverse reaction.

And I know, he's had the pills for a while. I was on vicodan for a time and I had a reaction after about a week so it's possible. The media just jumped all over this one.
 
Its a real shame. He is one of the most talented players on the field......but he has to open his mouth and ruin it. He is a troubled person that truly does not understand how blessed he is in life. Whether this was a suicide or not, its definatly a "T.O." situation. Whats next, guns and knieves, wife beatings?

He does have a big mouth but overall I think TO is a good man. He's done a lot for ill children. All behind the scenes stuff. He knows he's talented that's all. I'm not defending him because he does come off as a brat but I just don't think he's the villan we try to make him out to be. Either way, this is a TO situation.

Got to disagree with you there. He may very well have done a lot for ill kids, and if so I give him all the kudos in the world for that. But he has no honor, his word means nothing, and loyalty is something that he does not comprehend. These are the things that make a good man, at least in my book.

Oh, don't get me wrong, he can play. But he is more of a liability to any team that he is on than he is an asset. I am much happier now with Stallworth on the Eagles and TO on the cowgirls. Who knows, maybe Al Davis will pick him up when Dallas sends him packing LOL. And while we are on the subject of Al Davis, why in the hell does he wear his Grandma's glasses???
 
I consider myself a reasonably compassionate guy. And I have a fairly good understanding of personal demons...........

My opinion is that this guy may have come to the shocking conclusion that true happiness is not derived from wealth, fame, overwhelming amounts of delectable poontang or world class levels of achievement......

True happiness can only come from the spiritual satisfaction of your soul.....

Whether you think of it as God, Brahma, Yahweh, Love, Goodness, kindness, Charity, Altruism or by any other name....... It may be the only thing that you really can take with you when you die.........

Ostensibles notwithstanding, T.O. may possibly be counted among the "poor people" of the earth......... I feel quite sorry for him........ I pray that the power of True Love will touch his life and truly make him all that he was meant to be.....
