testing a fuel injector

my book does not show any thing for a pruge valve in the v-10 but all others still looking does your show a diagram
 
ok found it on hood ,,,pulled lines off and it seems closed at shutdown ,,,and no fuel in lines,,,with key on is valve suppose to be open?
 
I Just Found 4 pages of service bulletins of the ecu needing to be re flashed due to cold idle problems, there should be a badge somewhere with the software code on it, door, hood, glove box. still reading......
 
also i checked it not running and running ,,when running i got voltage going to it but soliniod is still closed running or not,,,i loked for a reflash tag or label but dont see any thing ecm has what looks like the oem sticker on it

there is a sticker with the software # on it or code, check For Vacuum Leaks, also it says if the 5 & 7 wires are ran inside run them out side. Have You Checked The IAC Valve?

yes iac is with in perameter ohms ,,,the only thing i see for possible code is on the pcm is in bold letters 359ad

have not check tp ,,or pulled iac valve off yet ,,,the iac is a plunger like shutoff right? also now im curous about purge soliniod that never opens even with voltage

ok early diagnosis is purge valve soliniod ,,i pulled it off and just jumped the vacuum hoses together ,,,now can someone tell me if purge valve is open the whole time vehical runs !,,seems to run way smoother when i floor it now ,,,tryed driving it stopped three times and started it up and just took off so far so good ??



and and for the ones that dont read a whole thread this is a magnum v10 not a srt-10

anyone know why the milage thing in overhead console does not work ,,,dont forget this is a 99 iron ten !! or were does the signal come from ,,,i replaced overhead with another but same poop:mad: temp ,compass works fine just when you click over to milage its blank
 
man i just had a flash ,,,wonder how hard it would be to put a viper v-10 in my magnum v-10 ,3/4 ton :D
 
Need different motormounts for the swap. The overhead is missing it's link to the PCM that is where it gets the mileage info. Temp and compass are independant.

Looking at the books it should go down the drivers side door pillar. Pin 2 is CCD Bus+ and pin 8 is CCD Bus-(at the console). Joint connector 3 is where it ties into the central timer module and there it is pins 9 and 15 (CCD bus).
