I went on Sat. to run my truck for the first time. I wanted to see what it would do stock. ARRESTmeRED04 and Big B's SRT10 were there as well. Here are a few pics of the trucks, and a video of my best run.

Very good. Now get a Stage 2 and Dump the cats and you should hit high 12's to low 13's

wow your camera is much better than mine dude, my girlfriend tried to get the last run an it really sucked, thanks. i'll give you a call when i'm gonna head out to academy next time. and hopefully we can have a g2g with some more srt's in the future, gotta say thanks to bj for the invite too had a good time and hope to go back. i think with a little more rubber on the track and a cooler day i may be able to hit 12's
 
Looks like a great time. What were the other times and how was the track conditions?

I got to play with a Shelby a little bit the other day. Never really got to race him, but I could tell it was a drivers race with his car.

LoveThisTruck- what kind of 60' did you have?
 
i ran twice 1st was 13.5 with a 2.05 60'.....and the 2nd was 13.6 with a 2.06 60'...the second is the video....my first race was with a black with grey striped shelby mustang, looked brand new....wasnt even close....got him by more than a second...

My best 60ft was 2.175. I had 3 runs, but the frst 2 sucked pretty bad. This was my frist time on the track so my reaction time wasn't pretty. It was a great learning experience for me. I had a blast
 
Looks like the Shelby driver couldn't get the power to the pavement. Also looks like something else on the road that is hard to launch off the line. The one I was playing with had some bad axle hop off the line. We both lost traction because of the sand from the plow trucks. But once I hooked I stayed with him for a couple seconds before we shut it down.

Can't wait to see him again:rock: . With better conditions I should do much better. Talked to the guy later and he thought I had a hemi.....LOL:D

But I hear the Shelby's are overated:dontknow:

For sure that tree can get the adrenaline running:rock: But remember your RT has nothing to do with your time. Looks like your sixty is pretty good. I was just wondering on your time. It is real close to what I run up here. The DA must have been kinda high that day.

Practice, Practice, and Practice and you will be a pro in no time.

That thing was pretty damn fast. He still hit 112mph, and almost caught me even with the bad launch.

Looks like you did not have a bad launch. These things are just so heavy it takes a lot to get them going. My best 60' up here was 2.1+, 14.1 with DR and I ran my truck in Phoenix and my best was 2.05, 13.3. Plus the factory PCM takes some power out of the motor (torque management). Once you get the flash or SCT you will be amazed by the difference.

My Goal is to get a 1.8 60' some day. But I think the average is about 2.0-2.1

My launch was alright, the mustangs was ugly. I'll be getting the SCT, and more, as soon as my durango sells:D
