TH350 to 700R4

Yeah it depends on what car your putting it in and what car the 700r4 came out of. Trans crossmember will more than likely have to be relocated and driveshaft length and yoke will change. Also a TVS cable will need to be installed

Its for my 71 Chevy C10 with a small block in it. My tranny went and I am thinking about switching but haven't ever done it before.

I THINK you can use a Turbo 400 crossmember and it will bolt right up to the frame and the transmission will bolt to it perfectly. Don't go just on my word, but I think that is the case. I think the 700R4 uses the same case and mounting points at the 400.

I may be all wet here, but doesn't the 700R4 require an ECM to function? :dontknow:

If all you are looking for is an overdrive I would look at installing a GearVendors OD unit. It may actually be cheaper and less of a hassle.
