thats why I said now I will be able to go faster, I.e now I can use my nos and s/c and bump up the psi. Also FYi on the ROE. The holes do make a differance and depending how much more flow you want determines the size of the holes and where. Don't forget sean designed these for a stock engine also the whipple he said is not that much mor efficeint. It was the larger holes HVT and his increase fuel so I think we may be on to something, when I find out more I will let you guys know. So any other questions:D when I had my crank done in aug my lower half was forged didnt by time I had the dough for the upper half they where done with my motor, so now I shall do the rest. WE CANN DOO IT!!! :D :marchmellow:

I am waiting to see what needs to be done to modify the intake.........what brand rods & pistons did you get?

I'm gonna disagree, the Whipple on a STOCK truck made 635 hp........... my truck is like 550 on a stock roe tune with meth and a cam........... Whipple is the key for me......... but I'll do the holes when I build the engine.

HVT doesn't have a whipple he's got a lysholm.

The whipple flows 1100 cfm the whipple flows 2100 ish......... on paper its a heck of a difference.

what is the lower half? only the rods?

wiseco pistons and K1 rods. Tell you what I have seen some pistons these are pretty damn nice if you ask me.they will handle what I want. If I o nuts like the rest I am just gonna get a another motor and pull this one and put it in a corner. BUt for now it will suffice. Then again the summer isnt here yet either.:D if your forged then the flow can only get better if not you will blow up that much faster:marchmellow: now after the pistons I am going to work on the fuel issue before I put the bigger pulley on:p Hey stink how much benefit for the s/c will that pulley make. top, middle or bottom end?

I didnt say HVT had a the new whipple, some other people where wondering. And according to Sean the new whipple is not that much better just slightly. and with the holes it also increase flow. Flow and fuel are begining to look more like the culprit and so HVT backs that up. He is on a stock pulley too isn't he?Just an Idear so well see after I am done. Do a tune with stock pulley and a very strong sean tune not to aggresive with new holes in the plate and dyno. Then I will do a dyno after I put a bigger pulley and upgraded fuel system not worried about injectors just yet if I get the numbers I think then I will change the injectors with the bigger pulley. But well see, gotta finish her first.:D

also up until a few yrs maybe 4 whipple was lysolm. Lysholm just made them for whipple, whipples design and they dicked them over so now whipple makes them thereselves now and the have upgraded a few things the cfm maybe be a tad more but it doesn't justify selling the lysolm for the new one uless your going bigger. Jmo.

I've looked a bunch into the difference. The Whipple is a whole new design. 1000 cfm is twice the lysholm. it makes a bunch more hp with out meth and without a tune then my truck does................. :) It's a better blower, will I be buying one, NO. Do I wish I had one, YES:)
