Well we have been waiting, and waiting and waiting for the VA to come back with our appraisal letter on our new house. It's been a bit over a week and getting close to our deadline for our locked in mortgage of 5.5%..... The seller is upset because they need to know to get housing arranged and whatnot.
Funny thing is, it's been the sellers fault. When the purchased the house and the ajoining 1.5 acres they didn't get the title swiched properly...... So they had to mail a letter to the first owner in Hawaii and have it sent back....... blah
So we've been worried that the house and property weren't going to appraise for their asking price....................... NO FEAR IT APPRAISED FOR ALMOST 20,000 MORE THAN WE ARE BUYING IT FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait, the schools in Montgomery Texas are some of the best around, we are a stones through from Lake Conroe and about 100 ft from THOUSANDS OF ACRES OF 4 WHEELER TRAILS AND LAND TO RIDE ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A 3,100 square foot house (shotgun style) a 25X50 2 horse stable and barn combo and 3 acres!!!!!!! This is our dream home... Lots of hard work, and never anything given to me to get it, and lots of hard work to keep it but its going to be so worth it!
