Greetings Everyone
Over the past few day's I have come to some conclusions, and really needed to post a THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that I have had the pleasure of "meeting"(within this forum and personally), over the past two and a half years. The VTCOA has become so much bigger than just a website, and a common ground for truck information...... that it still blows my mind.
It all started two years ago with a PM from(Bone) Met at ROE...had some stuff bolted on...for this was the beginning of it all. ....then met again...had a GTG
April of this year we hooked up at Atlanta Motor Speedway...beating up on SRT's for the day
Then Houston...
The Nat's...
Shoe Drive...
ROE GTG...
Heffner Shootout...
who know's what's next...:dontknow: can't wait.
I was trying to compile a list of everyone I had the chance to meet, hang out with, share stories of life, racing, hobbies, break bread with, stay at their homes...and say what great people we have here....but could not do it..too many good people... and I did not want to miss anyone.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
This past weekend regarding the racing of my truck.... I'm not so happy with myself.... had a terrible track day.... looked like my second time at the track on a few passes...
such is life :dontknow:
Best I could get out of the truck was a 13.0 @ 108 mph respectively..... did make it to the second round of the event...then broke out by 2 tenths... then just broke.
The blower is "interesting" to say the least....getting out of the hole was as well...and it should be an interesting season trying to get this down... still need some more time at the dragstrip...as well as a few more mods in the truck (line lock, spider gears, and clutch pack)
Did find out after being on the phone all morning, and running around...that the spider gears in mine were just rounded out... none snapped, and no shavings...so that's good.
Thanks everyone for the chance to be a part of this community, the hospitality, the laughs, and life experiences... for that I will be forever grateful.
Long live the VTCOA
Regards,
NBT
