As most know ive been in the process of buying gregs truck. I have to trade my truck as well as my wifes car in at a dealership towards the purchase of a new car for her. With that note off my hands i can buy his truck stright up.
My shifter broke, and that doesnt make it good trade fodder. Good ole G-Man gave me a hurst shifter. Hell a few months ago he came through at the last minute and loaned me the spare tire off his truck so i could do a burnout competition.
Anyway after getting that thing in, i wonder what the fuck was wrong with mine to begin with. This thing shifts 50 times better than my stock one did at 50k miles. No more gear lockout, and grinding, No popping out of reverse. It slides smoothly into gear with very little effort, and there is no play. It feels absolutly solid.
If this is the shifter everyone is bitching about, i cant imagine the difference a B&M or X-Metal would be over my wore out peice of shit. But i will soon find out, G-mans truck has the B&M already. Thanks again for comming through for me Greg.
