I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to Patrick for going COMPLETELY out of his way to help me plan a trip to Socal. Patrick didn't know me from Adam and has taken the time to help me plan and facilitate a pretty much complete vacation to California. I just goes to show how much of a family this place really has become. From takin time off work, to pickin us up from the airport to getting me a deal on a rental (that he had to cash in a solid favor for). I look forward to not only meeting Patrick, but all of you West Coasters. I appreciate all that u have done Patrick and will be seein u soon. Great to have such good friends, and it will be great to finally get to meet ya.

aw, don't worry about it brother that's what friends are for. There has been many things I learned in life, and the one that is SOLID as gold for me is " Invest in people (relationships), not in possessions "...to me that means using up my vacation time, money, gas or whatever. To make a friend that will be there for a long long time is worth sooo much more then materialistic stuff which will rust and rot away with time :burnout:

Patrick is a stand-up guy, its a pleasure to have met him and his wife this past weekend. I am glad there are people like that and even more so here on this fourm that will lend a helping hand. Great thread Blake.
Also try to get a schedule of sights to see and places to eat, I wouldn't mind driving down there to visit you guys (as well as seeing all San Diego area RBC'ers). For your B-day keep us posted, a titty bar is always a great idea (Lunch buffet is a plus ).
