Yea,after 5 or so hours apparently they cut a key.They were not able to get to it I guess.I called them twice more to check status.The Viper Tech was on other jobs.Maybe tomorrow......It would have been nice to get a call back though.Oh well.I am 200 miles away and it is hard to follow up.

Ok,here is the latest update.They found a wiring problem between the VEC and the Dodge wiring.The crimp connectors were not secured causing a short in the PCM/VEC wiring connection.This caued the Dodge harness to break.

They ordered a new harness from the depot and will be here tomorrow afternoon.The truck will be ready on TH.I will go up FR or SA and get it.The new connection will be covered by Dodge should there be any other problems.

Pretty simple fix considering the alternatives.

Not the song by the Beach Boys but where my truck broke down this morning.

I was on my way to pick up my Mom in South Bend and the CEL came on and the truck dies.Would not restart.

Same symptoms as when I had the rash of CPS issues but it would try to start then .

Maybe find out tomorrow when they look at it.

It is a a 5 Star dealership,Button Motors in Kokomo IN.

I got a ride back to Cincinnati this afternoon and will prolly get a rental car to go pick it up when it is fixed.Hopefully no issues with this dealership about my mods.
